Here you will find a few tips how to build your own fallout game. It doesn't matter if you would like to build a monopoly game or any other board game!
Usually the printer at home print with ca 150 or 200 dpi (dots per inch) and in a good print shop the printers print with 300 dpi (for the cards a normal printer is really ok! ^^)
So the quality and the details on large pictures is better and I want the board printed on a PVC plate and not just on thick paper or something. First I decided to print the board on metal, but I was afraid, that maybe the graphics are getting to dark and it cost a lot more money to do that
I hope you can understand what I mean, my English is not so good Sorry for that!
Ah, i think i understand. It looks good, like a professional game board. Thats why I wondered what it must have been printed on. I dont think I know anywhere that print on PVC boards, must be expensive, but the end result is great!
Oh actually it cost less than the real special edition of monopoly
I paid 40€ that's ca 50 US-Dollar. A lot of online print shops have good prices for special print products like print on PVC plates or canvas or plastics even print on wood or metal (but that's of course not so cheap)...
First I think about print my board version on paper an clue it on the original game board. I think that's a good idea if you wan't spend so much money and it looks great too, because you can fold it and make a cool box for it
I guess it isnt too expensive then, not much more than the normal game, and if anything, it is more of a special edition because you created it and it is unique.
Thanks for inspiring me though, I think its a brilliant idea and has got me wanting to make my own version now.
Oh, I did get linked to you from another monopoly board that was inspired by yourself. I guess I didnt ask, but did you create it in Photoshop or Illustrator yourself, or was there a monopoly board template you used and then filled it out?
thanks and congratulations from Spain!!!
will you share the cards too? please! please! please!
You can find the complete game with all cards you need here: [link]
What do you mean you 'decided to have the game board printed'? Whats the difference between that and printing it out at home?
